Lot 347: An Etched Glass Rhapsody pattern lamp shade
A thick-walled glass lamp shade attributed to Kosta Boda, featuring the Rhapsody pattern designed by Kjell Engman. The bulbous body features a wide, slightly inverted rim and is decorated with a frosted etched design of scrolling foliate and stylized folk-style floral motifs. The lower portion of the bowl is finished with a textured, dimpled effect that provides a hammered appearance. The glass possesses a light amber or citrine tint. An orange adhesive label with the handwritten digits 347 is located on the side. No maker marks or signatures are apparent on the base or body.
