Lot 227: A vintage mid-century cream fur capelet, circa 1950s-1960s
A mid-century vintage fur capelet or shoulder stole, characteristic of formal evening wear from the 1950s or 1960s. The exterior is crafted from a plush, cream-coloured fur with a soft texture. The garment features a structured, rounded top edge designed to sit over the shoulders, tapering towards the front opening. The interior is fully lined with a cream-coloured satin-effect fabric. A small loop is visible on the internal lining edge, intended for a hidden hook-and-eye closure at the centre front. There are no visible maker’s or brand labels present on the garment.

The item appears to be in good vintage condition with the fur remaining soft and plush. There is a small brown spot of discolouration visible on the internal lining near the centre opening.
