Lot 378: Contemporary Light Wood Veneer Flip-Top Dining Table
A contemporary dining table featuring a light wood veneer finish over an engineered wood core. The piece is designed with a flip-top mechanism, utilising two panels connected by recessed metal hinges to provide an extendable dining surface. When folded, the table functions as a console or side table. The structure is supported by four substantial, square-section legs that are integrated flush into the frame. The minimalist design and construction are characteristic of contemporary mass-market furniture, such as pieces produced by IKEA. No maker’s marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The table is in used condition with visible surface scratches, scuffs, and wear to the finish on the top, edges, and legs consistent with regular use. A small orange circular sticker is present on the side, and there is light-coloured residue or scuffing on one of the legs.
