Lot 350: John Morgan and Impressionist School, Two Framed Decorative Reproduction Prints

The auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises two framed decorative reproduction prints, identified as offset lithographs. The first print is after John Morgan (1823-1886) and is titled The Kite. It depicts two young girls in late 19th-century attire flying a large white box kite, with the title and artist name printed in the lower right margin. The work is set within an off-white mount and a dark wood-effect frame with a gilt inner slip. The second print is an Impressionist-style still life of pink and white flowers in a blue and white patterned ceramic vase. Although marks are present in the lower left and upper right of the image, they are not legible and do not permit a definitive attribution to a specific artist. This print is housed in a cream mount and a simple gilt-finished frame. Both pieces are presented under glass and do not show hand signatures or edition numbers.
Dimensions: Not provided.

Condition report:

Both prints are in good condition. The John Morgan print shows no significant foxing or toning. The floral still life exhibits light toning to the edges of the mount. The frames show minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with age and handling.
