March timed auction
Lot 148:
A trio of stoneware items comprising a lidded pot and two matching mugs. The pieces are finished in a monochromatic glossy tan glaze. The pot features a tall cylindrical body with a short pouring spout and a large scrolled loop handle. It is fitted with a recessed lid topped with a spherical knob finial. The two accompanying mugs are of wide-brimmed cylindrical form with matching handles. No factory marks or signatures are visible on the exterior surfaces. The set is characteristic of utilitarian British stoneware production from the mid-to-late 20th century.
The items appear to be in good overall condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the rims, spout, or lid. Minor surface wear and light scratches consistent with age and domestic use may be present.
