March timed auction
Lot 105:
A group of mixed decorative ceramics. The collection includes a large Chinese porcelain baluster vase decorated in the prunus or hawthorn pattern with hand-painted plum blossoms on a cracked ice ground in underglaze blue. Also included is a white glazed earthenware pedestal urn featuring twin handles and a moulded foliate rim. The group further comprises a tall, slender glazed earthenware jug with a scalloped rim and scrolled handle, decorated with a moulded body and hand-painted polychrome floral sprays in pink and green. Additionally, there is a small urn-shaped bud vase with hand-painted floral sprays and gilt detailing on a cream ground. All items are marked with orange and white auction house labels. No factory marks or signatures are visible on any of the items.
The large blue and white vase has a significant and visible crack running through the flared rim. The white pedestal urn, floral jug, and small bud vase appear to be in generally good condition. All items show minor surface wear consistent with age and handling.
