March timed auction
Lot 20:
A pair of lead crystal beer tankards featuring deep-cut geometric decoration. The pattern consists of radiating fan or starburst motifs around the lower section of the body, transitioning into vertical wedge cuts. Each vessel is fitted with a substantial plain-polished loop handle. The items bear temporary adhesive labels on the handles and bodies; no permanent etched or moulded maker marks are visible on the bases or bodies. The style of cutting is consistent with traditional British or Irish lead crystal production from the 20th century.
The tankards are in good overall condition. The glass remains clear with no visible evidence of clouding or glass sickness. No chips, cracks, or significant surface wear are visible.
