A set of silver plated teaspoons dating to the 1920s or 1930s. The items are manufactured from electroplated nickel silver (EPNS) and are marked A1 on the reverse of the bowls. Each spoon features a slender handle with a pointed finial and decorative engraving. The set is housed in a fitted, hinged presentation case with a textured exterior. The interior of the lid is lined with white satin, while the base features a black velvet-lined insert with individual compartments.
Condition report:
Fair condition. The metal surfaces show significant tarnish and patina consistent with age-related oxidisation. The set is incomplete, with one compartment in the case remaining unoccupied. The presentation box shows wear, particularly to the interior satin lining.
