A collection of numismatic items and currency. The lot includes Singaporean banknotes in five-dollar and two-dollar denominations. There are two framed sets of British coinage, with one set dated 1967 containing a half crown, florin, sixpence, and half penny. A large silver-coloured commemorative medal is included, presented in a black case with a white satin and green velvet-lined interior. The medal is inscribed in Portuguese: MEDALHA COMEMORATIVA DA INSTALACAO DO G.·. O.·. E.·. R.·. J. BRASIL 24 DE JUNHO DE 1979, relating to the Grand Orient of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The collection further comprises an assortment of loose and packaged coins of diverse origins and metallic compositions, housed in a yellow plastic container.
Condition report:
The banknotes show visible folds and signs of circulation. The framed coin sets exhibit superficial scuffing and scratches to the plastic cases. The commemorative medal and its presentation box are in good vintage condition. Loose coins show various states of wear, oxidation, and toning consistent with age and use.
