A set of 19th-century Windsor wheelback side chairs. The chairs are constructed from dark-stained wood and feature bentwood hoop backs with vertical spindles and a central splat with a pierced wheel motif. Each chair has a shaped solid wood seat and is supported by turned legs. Adhesive auction lot tags are visible on the upper back rails.
Condition report:
The chairs show signs of age and significant use, with visible surface scratches, scuffs, and wear to the dark finish, particularly across the seating surfaces.
