Turkish Anatolian Erzurum kilim rug featuring flat-woven construction. These rugs are crafted from natural wool fibres and display traditional geometric tribal patterns. The primary rug in the foreground features a central diamond-shaped medallion within a multi-coloured field of orange, ochre, black, and teal, surrounded by various smaller stylised motifs. The weaving technique is visible on the reverse of the draped rug to the right, showing a mirrored but more muted version of the geometric design. A small yellow adhesive tag is present on the edge of the central rug.
Condition report:
The rugs appear to be in good overall condition. The colours remain consistent and vibrant across the group. Edges and fringes appear largely intact with no immediately apparent major damage, holes, or significant staining.
