Lot 326: A Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Kerman Style Rug
This vintage hand-knotted rug is executed in the Persian Kerman style with a dense wool pile. The design features a solid dusty rose central field enclosed by a series of borders. The inner border consists of a delicate scrolling vine, while the wider main border is ornamented with stylised floral and foliate motifs in a palette of cream, beige, light blue, and brown. The rug is finished with a white fringe at the ends. A yellow inventory sticker numbered 326 is adhered to the pile.

The rug is in fair to good condition, exhibiting minor signs of wear and pile thinning consistent with age and use. There is light discolouration to the fringe.
