Lot 214a: An Assortment of Vintage Cutlery and Glassware
An assortment of vintage household items comprising several bundles of knives, a glass bottle, a pressed glass dish, a pair of tongs, and a display tray. The knives feature stainless steel blades and cream-coloured rounded handles, characteristic of Sheffield production. The glassware includes a clear panelled bottle with a matching spherical stopper and a pressed glass dish with a scalloped rim featuring a red-to-clear gradient. Accompanying these is a pair of ornate silver-toned metal tongs. The collection is presented on a light green marbled tray with a metallic gold-coloured border.
Condition report:
The collection is in fair to good vintage condition. The knife handles show visible staining and yellowing consistent with age and use. The glassware and tray exhibit minor surface wear and light scratches.
