Lot 203: A Set of A.G. Harley Jones Wilton Lily Pattern Tea Wares
A set of A.G. Harley Jones Wilton Lily pattern tea wares, produced at the Wilton Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent. The collection comprises teacups and saucers featuring blue and white transferware decoration. The design consists of intricate floral scrolls and foliage set within geometric lattice borders, finished with gilt-edged rims. Each piece bears a blue underglaze backstamp for A.G.H.J. Wilton Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent, including the pattern name Lily and the registration number 735940, dating the design to circa 1928.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition. Visible crazing is present in the glaze on the underside of the pieces, consistent with age and use. Minor wear to the gilt rims is observable.
