Lot 140: An Assortment of Mantel, Table, and Wall Clocks Including Smiths and Coral Examples
An assortment of clocks of various styles and periods. The collection includes a ceramic quartz wall clock featuring a grape and grapevine motif with a geometric border and stylized Arabic numerals, consistent with the American Atelier Vineyard pattern. Also included is a Smiths 8 Day mantel clock with a wood case and a rounded shield-shaped front. A mid-century Coral brand spherical alarm clock is featured on a polished metal pedestal base with a dark dial marked 2 Jewels and Japan. Completing the group is a small arched mantel clock in a brown composite case with a floral-decorated face and Roman numerals. Condition report:
The collection shows signs of age-appropriate wear throughout, including surface dust and adhesive price stickers. There is minor surface scratching to the cases and light tarnishing to the metal components. The movements have not been tested for timekeeping or functionality.
