Lot 121: A Late Victorian Style Stained Wood Dressing Chest with Swivel Mirror
A wooden dressing chest featuring a swivel mirror with a bevelled edge, mounted between decoratively carved uprights and a pediment with a central fan motif. The upper section includes two small jewellery drawers, while the main body consists of two short drawers over two long drawers. All drawers are fitted with brass-toned decorative swing handles and keyholes. The piece is constructed from a light-coloured wood with a warm reddish-brown finish.
Condition report:
The item exhibits surface wear and minor scratches consistent with age and use. A small auction lot sticker marked 22 is visible on the upper left corner of the mirror frame.
