This framed and matted coloured print depicts a traditional fox hunting scene by George Denholm Armour (1864-1949). The central composition features riders in red hunt coats on horseback accompanied by a pack of hounds in a pastoral landscape under a pale sky. The work is signed in the lower right corner G.D. Armour. The print is housed under glass in a dark-toned frame with a distinctive ribbed or corded texture.
The paper displays age-related toning and minor foxing, notably at the top edge of the image area. The matting shows light discoloration. The frame exhibits minor wear. Two auction inventory stickers are present on the upper left corner of the frame.
