A pair of 19th-century Chinese porcelain ginger jars featuring the prunus blossom pattern. Each globular jar is decorated in underglaze blue with flowering branches against a cracked ice ground. A geometric tooth border encircles the shoulder of each vessel. One jar retains its matching domed lid with floral and scroll decoration, while the second jar is presented without a lid. Both items are constructed of glazed ceramic.
