Lot 43: A Collection of Vintage Alabaster and Marble Stone Eggs in a Mid-Century Modern Style Ceramic Dish
A collection of vintage carved stone eggs presented in a ceramic dish. The assortment includes eggs of varying sizes and materials, featuring banded green stone, white marble, mottled blue stone, a dark textured stone, and a small crystalline light blue specimen. The ceramic dish is designed in a mid-century modern biomorphic kidney shape, finished with a turquoise glaze to the interior and a white glaze to the rim. Two adhesive inventory labels are affixed to the interior of the dish, bearing the numbers 402 and 19 19.
