Two antique brooches including an Edwardian sapphire and pearl lucky horseshoe bar brooch and a heart motif bar pin. The first item is an openwork bar brooch featuring a horseshoe and riding crop motif with entwined rope detail. The second item is a double-rail bar brooch centred with a heart-shaped setting containing faceted blue sapphires and seed pearls. Both pieces are fashioned from gold-toned metal, consistent with Victorian and Edwardian era jewellery.
