Lot 617: A Trio of Scottish Themed Metalware Including a Sgian Dubh
This lot consists of three items of Scottish themed decorative metalware. Included is a traditional sgian dubh with a black carved handle in a basket-weave pattern, topped with a silver-toned metal crown pommel. It is housed in a black scabbard with matching metal mounts. Also included is a metal letter opener featuring a hilt in the form of an owl and a simple tapered blade. The final item is a silver-toned kilt pin in the shape of a miniature sword with a circular buckler shield overlay. The shield features an embossed crest and the Latin motto FORTUNA JUVET.
