Lot 605: A Trio of Early 20th-Century Silver-Toned Military and Commemorative Medallions
A trio of early 20th-century silver-toned medallions and awards. The first medallion is inscribed 2ND BN THE KING’S OWN REGIMENT and depicts a lion with the Garter motto, suspended from a frayed blue and orange ribbon with three bars, two of which are dated 1920-1921 and 1921-1922. The second medallion is attached to a green silk ribbon and is inscribed RUBY MERCHANTS CHALLENGE SHIELD 1921. The third circular medallion features a laurel wreath design on the reverse with the inscription NOBLE LEAGUE. The items are constructed from silver-toned metal with textile ribbon components.
