The India General Service Medal is struck in silver and features the profile of King George V in coronation robes with the inscription GEORGIVS V KAISAR-I-HIND. This medal includes a single clasp inscribed AFGHANISTAN N.W.F. 1919 and is suspended from a green and black ribbon.
