An early 20th-century armchair in the Jacobean revival style, constructed from dark-stained wood. The piece features a backrest with a central woven cane panel framed by a wooden splat decorated with carved scrollwork. The seat is fitted with a matching woven cane panel. The frame is designed with characteristic barley-twist turnings on the legs, arm supports, and stretchers. Small white adhesive labels are present on the lower sections of the front legs.
