Lot 553: An Acme Furniture Versailles Collection Oval Back Side Chair
An Acme Furniture Versailles collection side chair designed in the Louis XVI style. The wooden frame is finished in a white paint with an intentional crackle-glaze effect, featuring gilded foliate carvings to the oval medallion backrest. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a pale salmon-coloured plush fabric, finished with brass-toned nailhead trim. The chair is raised on four curved cabriole legs with scrolling details. Adhesive stickers with numerical markings are visible on the upper frame.
