Lot 300: R. Edwards, Wooded Landscape with Fence, Watercolor on Paper, 1955
A framed watercolor landscape painting on paper depicting a wooded scene with trees and a wooden fence line. The work is executed in a naturalistic style using washes of green, earth tones, and gray to illustrate light and shadows across an open path. The piece is signed and dated R. Edwards 1955 in the lower right corner. It is presented behind glass with a cream-colored mat and a secondary brown inner mat. The artwork is housed in a dark, fluted wood frame featuring a beaded inner border.
