Lot 191: A Vintage Comitti OC Oak Weather Station
A British-made weather station manufactured by O. Comitti and Son (OC). The unit is constructed on a stepped solid oak base and incorporates three meteorological instruments. The left side features a vertical thermometer displaying both Fahrenheit and Centigrade scales. The central component is a square-faced aneroid barometer with a silver-toned metal bezel, featuring detailed weather prediction charts for summer and winter readings. The barometer faceplate is marked with the OC anchor logo and British Made. The right side contains a vertical glass storm tube with printed indicators for Rain, Change, and Fair. All three white-printed faceplates are marked British Made.
