Lot 61: Vintage Brass and Wood Revolving Nautical Sand Timer
This nautical-style revolving hourglass features clear glass bulbs containing fine white sand. The glass unit is secured between two circular dark-stained wooden plates by three decorative brass pillars. The top wooden plate features an inset compass. The assembly is pivot-mounted on a revolving brass arm, supported by a vertical brass post with decorative finials. The entire unit is mounted on a square, stepped dark-wood base.
