Timed auction of unsold lots from 10th December
Lot 148:
Two Tri-ang Railways model train sets, predominantly constructed from plastic and metal, presented within their original yellow cardboard inserts inside red-rimmed cardboard boxes. The contents include multiple sections of black model railway track, two locomotives, one of which bears the number “47606” and “BRITISH RAILWAYS” insignia. Also included are several pieces of rolling stock, specifically a green wagon marked “W1005 12T”, a maroon wagon marked “M/73031 20T”, and a white wagon marked “INSULFISH N6301”. Accompanying the sets are two small bottles of lubricating oil, one labeled “SHELL LUBRICATING OIL” and the other stating “Specially recommended for Tri-ang Trains.” A power unit is present in a distinctive red and yellow striped box marked “Tri-ang POWER UNITS, ” along with a UK-style plug bearing a “PASSED SAFETY TEST” sticker dated “3/10/75.” Visible text on the items and packaging includes “Made in England” and “Tri-ang Regd Trade Mark.”
