Timed auction of unsold lots from 10th December
Lot 62:
A bundle of six pieces of cutlery, comprising three knives and three forks, secured with a white elastic band. The handles are crafted from a cream to yellowish material, likely celluloid or ivorine, exhibiting age-related discoloration and minor dark specks. The blades and tines are silver-toned metal. One knife blade is clearly marked ‘EPNS’ (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver) within a cartouche, preceded by a maker’s mark resembling ‘CH’. Another blade, consistent with a fish knife due to its shape, features a decorative etched scroll pattern and partial text ‘SCO’. The items present in an older, traditional style.
