Lot 555: English Sterling Silver and Rose Gold Toned Fob, Dated 1944
An English Sterling Silver and Rose Gold Toned Fob. This heart-shaped pendant features an ornate scrollwork top and a jump ring. The front showcases a silver-toned metal outer frame encompassing a polished, blank rose-gold toned shield at its center. The reverse is entirely of silver-toned metal and is engraved with the text: “520 H”, “C. REGT. R.A.”, “JULY 1944”, “3 MILES”, “1ST”, “J. BAILEY”, and “O.V.O.”. Obscured hallmarks or additional characters are visible near the bottom. The inscription suggests a military or sporting award.
