A vintage KO ‘DOUBLE-BARREL SPACE RAY GUN’ toy, circa 1960. The item remains sealed in its original cellophane packaging within a cardboard box. The box features colorful retro sci-fi artwork illustrating the toy gun, with printed text highlighting features such as ‘SPARKS REAL NOISE LOTS OF ACTION’ and ‘Space Ray Gun’ on the stock illustration. Manufacturer’s markings include the ‘KO’ logo and ‘MADE IN JAPAN’. Several patent numbers are present: 73291, 29721, and 143747. A Japanese ‘ST’ (Safety Toy) mark is visible, accompanied by text translating to ‘Japan Toy Association, ‘ ‘Toy Safety Mark, ‘ and ‘Approval Number T: 027006’.
