Lot 181:
A group of four vintage Japanese polychrome enamel ceramic decorative objects. The lot comprises: a scalloped-rim porcelain bowl featuring a detailed scene of two figures in traditional attire within a landscape, accented by flying insects and a blue underglaze border; a small, fluted-rim ceramic vase with a molded figural element wrapped around its body, also in polychrome enamels; a lobed porcelain lidded box adorned with elaborate polychrome floral motifs, particularly peonies, and extensive gold gilding, featuring a raised central boss; and a round porcelain lidded box with a central polychrome floral bouquet surrounded by raised gilded scrollwork. All pieces appear to be hand-decorated.
