DECEMBER SALE
Lot 171:
A collection of five Japanese Kutani Geisha hand-painted ceramic items, predominantly porcelain. The lot includes two teacup and saucer sets; one features an East Asian-inspired landscape scene with a figure and orange trim, while the other is of a lobed form with muted landscape/floral motifs and gilded orange accents. Also present is a small lidded pot, likely a teapot or sugar bowl, decorated with blue, white, and pink floral patterns. The collection is completed by two decorative plates or shallow bowls: one with a scalloped edge depicting a vibrant landscape in warm hues, and another with a ribbed, scalloped edge showcasing a central floral bouquet on a cream-to-orange gradient, both finished with gilded rims. No manufacturer’s marks or translatable text are discernible.
