A collection of assorted brass and bronze objects, presented in ‘as found’ condition within a cardboard box. Notable items include a bell with a dark, worn wooden handle, a decorated ewer with intricate engraving, several weights (one marked ‘2 OZ’ and another with ’20 GRANE’), multiple empty bullet casings, a small decorative ship model clearly inscribed ‘FURNESS ABBEY’, and a circular perpetual calendar-like device displaying numbers such as 1-31, 365, and 366. Further items comprise various figurines (including a horse), a nautical-themed thermometer, a small ornate bell, buckles, a ring with a dark inset, and sundry other metal components. The collection displays a range of styles and appears to be of mixed periods.
