An 18th Century Brass Longcase Clock Dial by Charles Stocken of Brooke
An antique square brass longcase clock dial, engraved “Charles Stocken OF Brooke” below the central arbor. The dial features ornate, cast brass corner spandrels with foliate and scrollwork designs. The main dial is engraved with Roman numerals for hours, Arabic numerals for minutes (in five-minute increments), and extensive floral and foliate patterns across its center. It includes two subsidiary dials: an upper one with numeric divisions likely indicating seconds, and a lower one featuring a stylized sun face with numerical markings, possibly for a date complication.
