A Group of 'Soul Journeys' Limited Edition Maasai Resin Figures
A group of ‘Soul Journeys’ limited edition resin figures depicting Maasai individuals. The collection comprises five figural sculptures, cast from a bronze-patinated resin or similar composite material. There are two taller adult-like figures and three smaller child-like figures, one of which is accompanied by a small animal sculpture resembling a dog or goat. The figures are rendered in a contemporary style, referencing traditional African art, and are dressed in draped garments adorned with elaborate headwear, necklaces, and armbands. The patination varies, featuring metallic bronze tones, darker matte areas on the clothing, and subtle accents in colors such as reddish-brown and light turquoise on some details. A white sticker marked “19” is visible on the chest of one of the taller adult figures.
