A Bottle of 1946 Canadian Club Canadian Whisky, Hiram Walker & Sons Limited
A bottle of 1946 Canadian Club Canadian Whisky by Hiram Walker & Sons Limited. This full, sealed glass bottle contains dark amber liquid. It features a metal screw cap and a gold foil seal adorned with a prominent ‘W’ monogram. The white and gold paper labels are largely intact and legible, displaying “IMPORTED,” “Canadian Club Canadian Whisky,” “ESTABLISHED 1858,” “Hiram Walker & Sons Limited, Walkerville, Ontario, Canada,” “PRODUCT OF CANADA,” and “40% vol.” The labels explicitly state “THIS WHISKY IS 6 YEARS OLD.” Royal Warrants by Appointment to Late Queen Victoria (1898-1901), King Edward VII (1901-1910), King George V (1910-1936), and King George VI (1936-1952) are also present, indicating a production period after 1936 and before the widespread inclusion of Queen Elizabeth II’s warrant. An orange sticker with “291” is affixed to the bottle’s neck.
