A vintage ‘Topical Times Panel Portraits Album of Star Footballers’, featuring a cream and brown mottled cardstock cover. The album contains black and white photographic prints of individual footballers, including two clearly captioned as “RALPH BIRKETTI, Middlesbrough F.C.” and “GEORGE LAKING, Middlesbrough F.C.”, both attributed to “TOPICAL TIMES”. The photographic style and attire are consistent with an early to mid-20th-century period, specifically the 1930s as indicated by market comparables. An orange sticker marked “213” is present on the front cover and on the accompanying plain brown slipcase. A small numeral “5” is visible on the bottom left of the album cover.
