OCTOBER SALE
Lot 206:
A traditional Indigenous Australian didgeridoo, crafted from hollowed wood. The instrument features prominent matte black painted sections at both ends, transitioning to a lighter, natural wood-tone central body. This central section is richly decorated with stylized, segmented motifs in reddish-brown, intricately highlighted with yellow and white dot painting, characteristic of Indigenous Australian art. Bands of white dots demarcate the transitions between the black and decorated areas. Visible markings include a yellow sticker on the upper black section displaying “206” and a partially visible white sticker on the lower decorated section showing a numeral, possibly “6” or “9”.
