Lot 101:
A pair of figural two-light candelabra, attributed to F. Souchal, Paris, depicting the ‘Athéna’ motif. Each candelabrum features a standing female figure, crafted from a dark patinated metal, likely bronze or spelter, and depicted in classical or Renaissance-inspired attire and headwear, holding aloft two candle nozzles. The circular bases are ornately decorated with relief patterns. The signature “F. Souchal” is clearly visible on one base, with “A Paris” or similar subsequent text.
