A Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vase, dating to the Daoguang period (1821-1850). This large, ornate handled porcelain vase features a pale green ground adorned with vibrant polychrome enamel decoration. The body presents a detailed figural scene of individuals in traditional attire playing a board game within a landscape of mountains and trees. The rim is wavy, and both the rim and the elaborate scroll-form handles are extensively accented with gold gilding.
