A Collection of New Boxed Ceramic Wares, including James Herriot and Goebel Mugs
A collection of new, boxed ceramic ware, primarily collectible mugs, contained within a green plastic crate. Several boxes are marked “JAMES HERRIOT ‘Every Living Thing'” and “Border Fine Arts,” featuring illustrations of animals and the text “COLLECTORS MUG.” Other visible branding includes “Goebel,” “Porzellanfabrik,” and “Hümmel,” indicating a German origin for some porcelain items. Exposed mugs are white ceramic, some featuring gold-painted rims; one has partial green text including “ER” possibly related to a “Silver Wedding” theme. A box displaying colorful vegetable illustrations is present, and a light tan ceramic or stoneware bowl-like dish is visible in open cardboard packaging.
