OCTOBER SALE
Lot 36:
An early 19th century oak and mahogany eight-day longcase clock. Constructed from dark wood, likely oak and mahogany with veneer accents, the case features a broken arch pediment, fluted columns flanking the hood, and a trunk with a paneled door. The painted brass dial displays Roman numerals, Arabic minute markers, a seconds sub-dial, and a date aperture, and is clearly signed “Mulley Lancaster” above the central hands, with decorative floral painted spandrels in the corners. Two winding holes are visible on the dial.
