Lot 548: TAG Heuer Formula 1 Calibre 16 Anthracite Dial Stainless Steel and Ceramic Chronograph Wristwatch CAU2011
A stainless steel and black ceramic TAG Heuer Formula 1 Calibre 16 automatic chronograph wristwatch. The watch features an anthracite grey sunray dial with three black sub-dials at the 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions. The dial is printed with a green and red shield logo containing the letters TAG and HEUER, adjacent to the text TAG HEUER FORMULA 1 in white. The text CALIBRE 16 is printed above the logo, a date aperture is located at 3 o’clock, and the words SWISS MADE appear at the base of the dial. The watch is fitted with a fixed black ceramic bezel featuring a tachymeter scale with the word TACHYMETRE in red. The stainless steel case has a screw-down crown with a red stripe and an embossed shield logo. The integrated bracelet is constructed with stainless steel outer links and black ceramic centre links, finishing with a signed deployment clasp. Condition report:
The watch shows surface wear consistent with regular use. The stainless steel case and outer bracelet links exhibit light surface scratches and scuffing, particularly visible on the lugs and clasp (photo 1). The black ceramic bezel and centre links of the bracelet appear intact without visible chips or cracks. The dial and crystal are clear with no visible internal debris or scratches. The watch was running at the time of photography, but mechanical functionality and timekeeping accuracy have not been tested; no servicing history is available.
