A set of five kitchen knives housed in a slanted, light-coloured wooden storage block. Each knife features a polished steel blade and a black ergonomic composite handle with a contoured grip. The wooden block, likely constructed from rubberwood, features a printed mark on the side consisting of a horizontal line beneath the text LASER 5. This mark corresponds to the Laser series produced by Richardson Sheffield. The set includes a variety of blade profiles designed for domestic food preparation. The handles are secured to the blades with a seamless moulded construction.
Condition report:
The wooden block shows surface wear consistent with use, including scuffing and finish loss concentrated around the top edge and adjacent to the knife slots (photo 1). The black composite knife handles remain intact, displaying light surface scratches and minor dulling to the finish from handling. The steel blades show evidence of domestic use with fine surface scratches; the serrated and straight edges appear functional without significant nicks visible.
