A varied assortment of mid-to-late 20th-century costume jewellery and accessories contained within a clear plastic storage box. The lot includes multiple strands of cream and white faux pearl necklaces, strands of faceted clear glass or crystal beads, and a strand of round light-blue beads. Several pieces of corded jewellery in blue are present among the tangled strands.
The collection contains at least two silver-toned wristwatches: one features a rectangular face and link bracelet, while another possesses a wide, textured silver-toned metal band and a crown set with a small blue cabochon. A variety of base metal accessories are included, notably a pair of textured gold-toned rectangular cufflinks, a silver-toned brooch or pendant featuring a central red faceted glass stone, and several assorted metallic fasteners and components.
The container bears an orange adhesive label on one side with the hand-written number 479, and a white printed adhesive label on the front reading SMALL SCREWDRIVERS in reversed capital letters. No maker’s marks, designer signatures, or hallmarks are legible on the individual items at this magnification.
Condition report:
The items are stored loose and tangled within the container (photo 1), which may result in surface scratching, abrasions, or broken strands not immediately visible. The wide silver-toned watch band shows visible surface wear and areas of possible tarnishing. Several metallic items appear to be incomplete fragments or components rather than intact pieces. The functionality of the watches and the security of clasps or stones cannot be verified from the images.
