Lot 431: A Collection of Childrens Board Games and LEGO Activity Books Including Star Wars Themes
A group of assorted children’s educational games, board games, and activity books housed in two cardboard storage boxes. The collection includes a Scrabble Junior board game by Mattel Games, featuring a turquoise box with the word SCRABBLE printed in white vertically and junior in yellow tile-style lettering. Educational games from Orchard Toys are present, including Tell the Time, featuring a red box with a printed clock face and the text Orchard Toys in a circular blue logo, and Shopping List, a memory game in a yellow box with the same manufacturer logo. An activity set titled Mr. Funny Face by Kids Classics is included in a blue and yellow box.
The lot also contains various books and sets published by DK, most notably a large My LEGO World box set containing a collection of slim reference books. The Star Wars franchise is represented by a hardcover 5-Minute Star Wars Stories book and a LEGO Star Wars activity book featuring the character BB-8 on the cover. The items are primarily constructed from printed card, paper, and plastic components. A white adhesive sticker with the printed numbers 26 26 and an orange adhesive price label reading 4.31 are visible on the exterior of the storage boxes (photo 1).
Condition report:
The collection is in used condition with visible signs of shelf wear. Several game boxes, particularly Shopping List and Mr. Funny Face, show fraying, corner scuffing, and creasing at the edges (photo 2). The My LEGO World outer sleeve shows compression and rubbing to the corners (photo 1). The 5-Minute Star Wars Stories hardcover shows minor impact marks to the spine edges (photo 1). The internal completeness of game pieces, cards, and LEGO elements has not been verified.
