Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

A framed landscape print of Grasmere in the English Lake District, based on an original work by W. Heaton Cooper. The scene is rendered in a muted palette of greys, blues, and ochres, depicting the lake and the surrounding fells in a style characteristic of the artist’s watercolour technique. Centred on the lower margin, several lines of printed text are visible: the title GRASMERE, the artist’s name W. Heaton Cooper, and a reference code Print Ref. ZS 2768. To the left, a printed line reads Printed in England by W. R. Royle & Son Ltd. The right side of the margin features a publisher’s mark for Royle Publications Ltd. The print is presented within a dark wooden frame featuring a gold-toned inner slip. An orange rectangular adhesive price or inventory sticker reading 257 is located on the top left corner of the glass, and a white rectangular adhesive sticker with the number 10 10 is on the top right corner.

Condition report:

The print shows signs of toning and potential light-related fading consistent with display (photo 1). The frame exhibits minor surface scuffs and wear to the edges, particularly visible along the top edge (photo 1). The paper appears generally flat within the frame without major creases or foxing visible through the glass. No other faults are visible.
