Lot 228: An Assortment of Leather and Textile Accessories Including Radley London
A collection of personal accessories and leather goods. The group includes a red grained leather tri-fold purse featuring an appliquéd pink leather dog motif. Centred on the pink leather appliqué is a printed mark reading RADLEY in capital letters. The purse is constructed with a red-toned zipper tape and a metal pull. Also included is a larger, rectangular red leather purse with a curved envelope-style flap closure. A large, dark brown textured leather satchel or messenger bag is present, featuring a wide adjustable leather shoulder strap and a large, rectangular, antiqued brass-tone buckle. The leather of this bag exhibits a heavy grain. The lot further contains a vibrant red woven scarf with a fringed edge, a black fabric strap, and other dark-toned accessories.
Condition report:
The items are in a used, mixed condition. The brown leather bag shows significant creasing and softening of the leather with some surface scuffing throughout (photo 1). The Radley purse exhibits some darkening and soil to the pink leather dog appliqué (photo 1). The red scarf shows minor fraying to the fringe (photo 1).
